Abstract: A statistical technique is a good way to assess and investigate the relationships of variables. The technique that has been described in this study is used to investigate the relationships among some variables. In this study has used regression and correlation analysis to define the relationship in the different ways because analysis of both regression and correlation has different roles in the implementation. These methods have been implemented to assess the effects of the internal environment, the external environment, the competitive advantage, and the organization performance. Based on concluding, the IT private university of XYZ is embracing the resource based view approach and the external environment doesn’t affect the competitive advantage. Meanwhile the effect of competitive advantage to the organization’s performance can be achieved with some conditions.
