Parents Perception about Female Education: A Case Study in District Jehlum

Abstract: The importance of female education spreading of its fruits to all sections of the society is well appreciated and documented to solve existing and emerging problems of society. Education of a girl is like education of a family while education of a boy is merely education of a person. The universe of present study comprised of Distt. Jehlum. A sample of 100 respondents was selected randomly from two villages. The results shows that about 43.0 percent of the respondents were young. The male respondents having low income level was 26 percent. It was concluded that 49 percent had positive attitude towards female education and significant association between education of the respondents and their attitude about female education.
