Participation of Females and their Attitude Towards Migrational Adjustment: A Case Study in Tehsil Faisalabad

Abstract: Women play a vital role in the development of society as well as in the adjustment of family. The study was designed to investigate the background characteristics of female migrants, measure the participation in adjustment of migrants through income generating activities. The study was conducted in three areas of Faisalabad Tehsil. Mohamdia Colony, Al-Fiaz Colony and Tudiwala were selected purposively due to easy access to these areas. A convenient sample of 40 respondents from three areas was selected to formulate a sample size of 120. The data shows that a significant relationship between income and problem of residence, problem of employment, problem of social adjustment and problem of availability of drinking water was found.
