What Do Teachers And Students Hope For Foreing Language Education In Manisa In Turkey?

Abstract: Research findings of most studies carried out in developing countries like Turkey indicate that Foreign LanguageEducation (FLE) quality seems to have greater effects on people`s academic or social achievements. In particular, countries which need knowledge and tecnology transformations have focused on importancy of FLE (ENGLISH). With this reason this study was formed in the way of the investigating problems encountered in FLE and examining them considering both instructors and students. The findings of this study in which the join unique and incremental effect of socio-economic status, teching-learning methods and metarials, technological developments. Personal and occupational characteristics of teachers, curriculum programs, The Ministry of Education fundamental principles on FL learing achievement of 473 Turkish high school seniors and FL instruction achievement of 12 teachers were analysed, emphasize that it hasn`t been obtained a successful conclusion in FLE. Furtheremore this article brings about considerable conceptions on the present education systrm in Turkey.
