Socio-Economic and Psychological Factors of Human Migrants: A Case Study in Faisalabad

Abstract: This study was designed to investigate migration behavior towards human migration. The present study was conducted in Faisalabad city; using multistage sampling techniques drew 120 rural migrants. Majority of the respondents migrated for employment, about 17 percent respondents for better educational facilities, and 15 percent respondents for achieving better standard of living. Most of the respondents i.e. 66.6 percent were satisfied not at all before migration and after their migration about 80 percent respondents were satisfied in the city environment.
