A sample of 100 respondents was selected from these two areas by simple random technique. The strength of the family unit is intertwined with the practice of religion. The regular practice of religion generally inoculate individuals against a host of social problems including suicide, drugabuse, crime and divorse and also encourage such beneficial effects on mentle health as less depression, more self-esteem and greater family and marital happiness. So, it is suggested that religious education should provided in the mass and Islamic programes should be telecasted through communication channels to create awareness among people about Islam.
