Marital Satisfaction: Connections of Self-Disclosure, Sexual Self-Efficacy and Spirituality among Nigerian Women

Abstract: This study examined the influence of self-disclosure, sexual self-efficacy and spirituality on the marital satisfaction of some selected Nigerian women. The study is an expost facto research and it made use of 2000 Nigerian married women for the study. The participants were randomly selected from diverse socio-economic and religious background. They were aged between 23 and 58 years. The study used multiple regression statistics on SPSS to analyze to data. The results indicated that there was significant relationship between each of the predicting variables and marital satisfaction. Also, there was a combinatorial effect between spirituality, self-disclosure, self-efficacy and marital satisfaction.
