Abstract: This study presents a research on the compressive strength and flexural strength comparison of Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag (GGBS) on alccofine based concrete mix of grade M30. The compressive strength of concrete was conducted on cubes of dimension (150x150x150 mm), after the cubes were cured in a curing tank for 3, 7,14 and 28 days, respectively. GGBS was varied from 0, 15 and 30% whereas alccofine was varied from 0-20% at 5% increments. The results indicate that replacement of cement by alccofine material increases the mechanical strength (both in compression and in flexure) to a large extent and extensively at 10% replacement of cement.
