Abstract: Playing games on phones can provide an ideal distraction for people commuting to work or waiting in a line. Some simple games have been a big hit with mobile phone users such as snake. Games can be delivered built-in applications on each phone, they can reside on the network to be played during active sessions or they can be delivered as complete applications via one-time over-the-air downloads using a WAP service. Mobile phone games have become so popular that popular games such as the FIFA football series can now be bought, loaded and played on a mobile.
