Abstract: In this study, we deals with cubic B-spline method to solve two-point boundary value problem. The cubic B-spline approximation equation based on quarter-sweep concept are used to discretize the proposed problem and construct the linear system. The linear system are solved via. the family of SOR iterative methods which is Full-Sweep Gauss-Seidel (FSGS), Full-Sweep Successive Over Relexation (FSSOR), Half-Sweep Successive Over Relexation (HSSOR) and Quarter-Sweep Successive Over Relexation (QSSOR) iterative methods. The performance for the proposed iterative methods are recorded with compared three parameters such as number of iterations, execution time and maximum error. The QSSOR is superior method as compared with FSGS, FSSOR and HSSOR iterative method based on the numerical solution are obtained.
